Active Substance
Dynorphin A is a highly potent neuropeptide containing the Leu-enkephalin sequence at its N-terminus. The truncated sequence dynorphin A (1-13) acts as an endogenous kappa-opioid receptor agonist. Dynorphin A (1-13) appears to reduce morphine requirements in postoperative patients.
