Host: Rabbit or Guinea Pig
The immunofluorescence kit is designed to stain a specific peptide in fixed tissue by an indirect immunofluorescence technique. The indirect immunofluorescence technique uses a primary antibody directed against a specific antigen (peptide) in the tissue followed by a secondary antibody which is conjugated with a marker such as fluorescein-isothiocyanate (FITC). The secondary antibody binds to the primary antibody. Positive staining will show a green to yellow-green emission in a darkfield. We recommend that frozen tissue sections be used with this technique. The kit provides sufficient reagents for 50 slides.
Expiration date is 3 months from shipping date.
