The Melusine® Snake Venom Collection is a pre-designed library containing high-quality snake venoms.

These venoms have been meticulously prepared and pre-fractionated on our automated platform using our well-established standard operating procedures. The fractions are dispensed in microplates and made ready for high-throughput screening (HTS) in lead discovery projects.

We provide the following Snake Venom Collection. This Snake Venom Collection has been pre-fractionated for your convenience in HTS.

V-9010 - 134 Snake Venoms
A Unique Collection of 134 Snake Pre-fractionated Venoms, Including 32 Rare* and 102 Common Venoms

Each venom is fractionated into either 96-well microplates containing 80 fractions from one venom (4 plates) or into 384-well microplates containing 320 fractions from 4 venoms (1 plate).

Each 96-well microplate contains approximately 500 molecules, and each well typically contains 5-20 molecules. Bioactive compounds are at an estimated concentration of 0.5-5 micromolar (uM) when dissolved in 50-100 microliters (uL). The fractions have been designed to have activity in the nanomolar (nM) or picomolar (pM) range and have enough material for 1 to 3 screens.

We guarantee resupply for every well from the same venom batch.

Each microplate comes with:

A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) that includes an RP-HPLC profile and a matrix-assisted laser-desorption/ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrum of the crude venom with a list of detected molecular masses
An Excel spreadsheet for hit-follow-up
