Regenerative Medicine
Regenerative medicine aims at curing diseases or healing corporal defects by replacing, engineering or regenerating cells, tissues or organs to restore or establish normal function. Administration of peptide hormones can trigger such processes, e.g. regeneration of bone by application of teriparatide. Growth factors advance the production of (artificial) tissue by stimulating cell growth and proliferation. Compatibility of implants with the body’s own tissue can be improved by modifying their surface with cell-adhering peptides such as RGD peptides or laminin sequences.

Tau Peptides
We are pleased to present our newly available Tau peptides for Alzheimer’s disease research. Both β-amyloid and tau-protein are related to Alzheimer’s disease. Studies have shown that the extent of tau-related pathology correlates better with the degree of dementia than the amyloid plaque burden. Toxins
We are pleased to present a selection of our toxin peptides, which are unique biological molecules due to their ability to address biological targets with extraordinary efficiency and specificity. Since the ion channels and receptors affected are central to physiological processes of highest medical interests, toxins resemble extremely valuable tools in biomedical science. Labeled toxins can be used to precisely visualize tissues, cells and subcellular structures. Other toxin peptides showcase the mechanisms of peptide-membrane interactions, or, have the ability to modulate the integrity and barrier function of biological membranes. Prominent examples of medical research fields are neuronal and cardiovascular diseases, inflammation research, pain mitigation and cancer. Please explore our broad catalog offering of toxin peptides, and be inspired for the next groundbreaking step in your research.
