Active Substance
The histamine H1 receptor antagonist antazoline, an imidazoline derivative, acts as an antihistamine and, hence, as an antiallergic agent. In ophthalmic solutions, usually in combination with a decongestant, antazoline sulfate is applied topically to relieve the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis.
