Foreign assignments

In our Employee Exchange Program, a qualifying employee is offered the opportunity to work abroad in another Bachem Group Company. The program strives to transfer knowledge and technologies between our companies as well as integrate their cultures and strengthen working relationships. This also provides the employee the unique benefit of personal development as well as transfer of knowledge and experience.

Apprenticeships

We set a high value on a well-founded education, especially for our youngest associates. With the apprenticeship program for school-leavers, we live up to our social responsibility towards the community and supply the workplace of Switzerland with well-qualified professionals.

At our sites in Bubendorf and Vionnaz, we offer the opportunity to young people to receive a first-class industrial training in different apprenticeship positions. Currently, we train laboratory technicians (specializing in chemical synthesis and analytical chemistry), scientists and positions in other departments.

We provide a broad and integral basic education combined with an established professional training that goes beyond the simple professional knowledge. We provide capacity for teamwork, social skills and self-confidence that in order to facilitate the young professionals’ start to working life and to plan their personal development.
