Bachem Breakfast Session on November 2nd, 9:30am
WHY IS INNOVATION KEY FOR GENERICS?
Start your day with Bachem, breakfast and networking in-person at CPHI Frankfurt and explore why innovation is so key for generics.
There is more to creating generic peptide APIs than simply following a recipe. How you make them makes a difference. Large-scale manufacturing of these substances involves many challenges; from decreasing yields for longer peptides, to the enormous amounts of solvents needed for purification.
The only way to produce these drug substances efficiently, sustainably and in the highest quality is by optimizing the manufacturing process using innovative technologies. In this breakfast session, featuring an exciting expert keynote presentation and interactive Q&A, learn why innovation is key for manufacturing these APIs, and how Bachem drives technical developments to guarantee the best API supply for our clients.

Sustainable production of complex API
Improving the sustainability in the CDMO industry is a multi-facetted approach covering environmental, economic and social tasks while having a strong focus on these areas where a company can make the highest impact. Bachem, the leading manufacturer of peptides and oligonucleotides is a good example for using this approach successfully. By innovating for better manufacturing the company could massively reduce greenhouse gas emissions and solvent consumptions: something that is also of utmost interest when searching for a partner for large-scale production of oligonucleotides and peptides.
