Increasing peptide and oligonucleotide API concentration prior to isolation is often critical to improving manufacturing efficiency, maximizing asset utilization, and supporting higher production throughput, while maintaining drug substance quality and process robustness.

This webinar will provide an overview of established membrane-based concentration technologies, including ultrafiltration/diafiltration (UF/DF), frequently referred to as tangential flow filtration (TFF), and nanofiltration (NF), along with practical use-cases in multi-kilogram API manufacturing.

This webinar will also discuss key limitations of current membrane-based approaches, factors that influence performance, and considerations for successful process optimization. Finally, alternative technologies, including thin film evaporation (TFE), and emerging solutions will be highlighted, providing perspectives on future approaches to overcoming concentration-related challenges in next-generation TIDES manufacturing processes

Key Challenges that we address:

  • Concentration and isolation bottlenecks that limit throughput, asset utilization, and manufacturing efficiency of peptide and oligonucleotide APIs.
  • Selecting and optimizing the right concentration technology while maintaining product quality, robustness, and scalability.

Key benefits/takeaways from the webinar:

  • Learn how UF/TFF, NF, TFE, and alternative approaches can increase throughput, reduce downstream bottlenecks, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Gain practical guidance on selecting and optimizing concentration strategies for different molecule types and process requirements.
