About the Speakers
Patrik Plattner is a Senior Group Leader in the quality control department at Bachem’s main site in Bubendorf, Switzerland. His work covers various analytical techniques with a focus on spectrometric and spectroscopic techniques for the investigation of the peptides regarding their chemical and physical stability. In addition, he and his team are responsible for method validation, implementation of the techniques in routine tests and support of control strategies at the frontier of peptide analysis. Patrik received his PhD in chemistry from the University of Bielefeld, where he worked in the group of Prof. N. Sewald with a broad focus from chemical synthesis up to bioanalytic of peptidomimetics. He joined Bachem as an analytical scientist in 2010.
