The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) has granted Bachem AG a renewed manufacturing licence in conformity with their regulations. The license is granted for the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for the Japanese market.

The three Bachem GMP production facilities, Bachem AG in Bubendorf and Bachem SA, Succursale de Vionnaz, both in Switzerland, as well as Bachem Americas, Inc. in Torrance, California, USA, are licensed and meet the strong requirements for supplying the Japanese market for the next years.

These certificates and Bachem’s high experience with registration of product master files in Japan enables the company to supply pharmaceutical and biotech companies in Japan with the necessary quantities of API ranging from small quantities for development projects to bulk deliveries for successfully marketed products.
