The Boulder Peptide Foundation (BPF), headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, is a non-profit 501(3)c public charity dedicated to supporting the advancement of peptide therapeutics. The Society organizes the Annual Boulder Peptide Symposium as a key vehicle for driving the science and technology in this important field.

Matteo joined Bachem in 2004 as Director of Research. During his career at Bachem Americas he covered both the position of VP of R&D responsible for process development, and VP of Manufacturing responsible for commercial production. In his current position as VP of CMC Development, he supports Bachem customers in identifying the activities assuring a successful CMC development. Matteo holds a Doctorate in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology from University of Milano, School of Pharmacy.

Thomas Meier joined Bachem AG in 1993 as Team Head, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. From 2001 to 2004, he headed up peptide manufacturing at Peninsula Laboratories, Inc. in San Carlos, California. Upon his return to Switzerland, he was in charge of solid-phase peptide manufacturing for Bachem AG in Bubendorf. He assumed overall responsibility for production at the Bubendorf site in 2013, and was appointed COO Europe in August 2017, with responsibility for all production sites in Switzerland, Germany, and the UK. He was appointed COO of the Bachem Group and member of the Corporate Executive Committee in 2019. Since January 1, 2020 Thomas Meier is CEO of the Bachem Group and Chairman of the Corporate Executive Committee.
