Dr. Leendert van den Bos

CEO at EnzyTag BV

Dr. Leendert van den Bos obtained his MSc- and PhD-degree in bio-organic chemistry from Leiden University. In 2007, he joined Organon BioSciences as a Scientist and worked subsequently for Schering-Plough, Merck Sharp & Dohme and Aspen Pharmacare mostly in the field of Process Research & Development. In 2018 he co-founded EnzyTag focusing on the development of chemo-enzymatic processes for complex peptide API’s. Leendert holds an Executive MBA from Nyenrode University.

Dr. Anna Koijen

Senior Scientist at EnzyTag BV

Anna Koijen studied biotechnology at FH Aachen, University of Applied Sciences, and the University of Münster. Afterwards she pursued a PhD at Forschungszentrum Jülich, during which she focused on enzyme engineering for the stereoselective formation of chiral building blocks. In 2019 Anna joined EnzyTag as a scientist working on the chemo-enzymatic synthesis of peptides and proteins using the peptiligase technology.

Naoki Yamamoto

Head of Business Development, Asia Pacific

Naoki Yamamoto is Head of Business Development & Sales, Asia Pacific at Bachem Japan since Jan 2022. For the past 16 years, he’s been involved in the development of new synthetic methodologies for glycopeptides and glycoproteins, purification & analytical technologies for those materials, and coordinating several collaborations and alliances with not only domestic pharma companies but also international pharms. Prior to joining Bachem Japan, he was RAQA & BD Director at 3-D Matrix (2017-2021), and a regional president at Brand Institute (2015-2016). Prior to Brand Institute, he was served as a Senior Investigator at GlyTech (2012-2014) and American Peptide Company, Sunnyvale, California in the US (2009-2012). Prior to American Peptide Company, he was a Researcher at Otsuka Chemical Company (2006-2009). He received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Yokohama City University, Japan in 2006.
