Gerrit Buurmann

Senior Director Project Management Global PM

Gerrit Buurman, Senior Director Global Project Management, is a PhD chemist by training and is leading a team of 24 professional Project Managers at the Bachem Switzerland site. He worked several years in the Research division of F. Hoffmann-La Roche followed by more than 10 years in strategy consulting for the biopharmaceutical industry. Gerrit joined Bachem in 2016 to professionalize and further develop project and portfolio management at Bachem.

Daniel Bachmann

Business Development Manager

Daniel Bachmann, PhD, Business Development Manager Oligonucleotides, is an organic chemist by training and is working in the CDMO industry since 2015. He worked in various positions ranging from process R&D, to product management and project management. Daniel joined Bachem in 2021 where he assumed the role of a customer project manager for Bachem’s Oligonucleotides portfolio and transitioned into business development in the second half of 2023.
